If your computer got screwed up somehow and you can't get into Windows, it's not over yet. You can pop in a Linux live CD/DVD and copy all your important stuff to a flash drive without using Windows. You can even use that disc to use your computer until you get it fixed. I'm selling a DVD-R with Knoppix Linux (v5) on it for $1. You can download it for free, at knoppix.net, but I've done all the work for you. You're only paying me for downloading it and for the disc. Oh, and it's completely free, legally too.
