Softball legend Michele Smith will host a free fastpitch clinic on Sunday, Feb. 4, at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Geared for players from Little League through high school, the clinic will provide instruction and motivation from one of thegame s all-time greats. Open to the public, the clinic will begin at 2:00 pm at the OSU Athletics Center, home of Gallagher-Iba Arena. An autograph session and photo opportunity will follow. Considered by many to have the best mechanics of any pitcher in the game, Smith will break down the throwing motion into easy-to-understand phases, demonstrate the proper technique, discuss fastpitch fundamentals and share her keys to success. The New Jersey native is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where she earned All-American honors in 1988 and 1989.
