Subletting my room from July 8 - August 31 in the wonderful Oberlin co-op just two blocks behind Stanford grad student housing on Oberlin Street and California Ave. The rent is $534/month plus utilities ($75-120/month) and shared food costs ($200/month). My room is in the back of the property and is fully furnished. The room is a part of a larger 10 person grad student co-op so you will be a part of a community of recent graduates and grad students working in the area. This is a very welcoming and kind community that you will be sharing space, time, and delicious meals with. There's a large kitchen, shared common areas including a large living room and desk areas, and a beautiful and large backyard with an oak tree and vegetable garden.

Since you will be joining the co-op for the summer you will have communal and shared responsibilities including:

• Once a week dinner cook: We serve dinner at ~7:30pm. Each week, residents pair up to cook meals together. Cooks are responsible for planning the menu, cooking, and cleaning after the meal. We trade off who shops or have a designated shopper each semester. All receipts are submitted to the house to be shared in the monthly bill. Expect ~3hrs in the evening, one night a week.
  -One a month deep clean: Each Sunday, two Oberliners deep clean the kitchen and tidy up the dining and living rooms.
• Once a month house meeting: usually 1-1.5 hours after a house dinner to check in with each other, plan social events, and review chore rotations
  -One work day: This is one of the best ways we improve our house! Our work days range from general house cleans (front yard weeding, back yard, common areas) to big projects, like gardening and more! We spend a Saturday or Sunday from 10am-2pm on the workday, starting our mornings with bagels and ending with an awesome home cooked meal.
  -Once a summer social event: We will decide on a social event this summer!
  -One-off small jobs: We rally together to share the load of other responsibilities as they come up. Whoever's around will mobilize to take out the trash, propose a passion project, plan an event, or anything else
