We (2 M, 1 F in our 20s and early 30s) have one room (“room 1” on the floor plan in the Google slides) for rent in our 4 bedroom 2 bath house in the Midtown/Triple El area of Palo Alto for $1645/mo including utilities. We’re 20-25 min biking distance (15-20 min by car) to the Stanford campus. There is plenty of space available for street-parking. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room/common area with a nice large couch, TV, and a big dining table. The house has central heating (no AC) and a washing machine and dryer. There is a garden area outside with mature fruit trees and raised garden boxes in the front which are currently orphaned but free to use for garden enthusiasts. The room is available on April 1st and we are looking for long-term house mates (1 year or longer would be ideal). The land lady allows no pets, sorry. We also share the cost for internet (~$20/mo) and a cleaning lady who comes every other week (she charges $160 per cleaning, so 2 x $40 for each housemate per month). The room is 14'10”×11'3” (plus a large closet). It has windows on the north and western walls which let in lots of natural lighting. The room has hardwood floors and some optional furnishings (price negotiable). The room also shares a bathroom with two other roommates (the second bathroom belongs to the master bedroom). We mostly relax on the weekend or are outdoors and occasionally have some friends over in the living room and sometimes we also just hang out together with a good board game or TV show.
