I am currently a PhD student at Stanford, and I offer private tutoring services. I received my BS from MIT with a 4.9/5.0 GPA, and I have more than 10 years of teaching experience from TAships, private tutoring, volunteering, etc. Since starting grad school, I have accumulated more than 500 hours of private tutoring experience. When working with students, I prioritize the depth of understanding rather than the speed, and this results in long-term growth and confidence for my students. I also work in suggestions for improving students' study habits. I include personalized notes after each session, and I will always structure lesson plans to target a students' weaknesses while enhancing their strengths.
