The room: Partially furnished (with queen bed, bed frame, bedside tables, & lamps) Tons of built-in shelving Sliding door/window that lets in afternoon light Carpeted An attached *private* bathroom w/ tub and shower The house: Fantastic location: 3-min walk to Safeway / CVS / bus stop (SamTrans & Stanford Marguerite) 10-min bike ride to Stanford 12-15 min bike ride to downtown Menlo Park & Palo Alto Modern kitchen with a dishwasher & 2 ovens Large furnished living room with flatscreen TV & crafting space Furnished back patio with a heat lamp & grill Washer & dryer A kind landlord who we keep in regular touch with No pets (not allowed in our lease) The housemates: We are 4 professionals/grad students in their late 20s. Our close community enjoys hanging out together and sharing communal dinners a few times a week. We share house chores and keep a neat home. We often have friends over for dinner, movie nights, and art nights. We throw the occasional party for birthdays or holidays.
