Rent would be $1425/month; the entire apartment’s rent is $2850/month, and in the past I have simply covered utilities, which average $200/month, as my room is slightly larger. The common spaces in the apartment will be furnished, and if you so desire your room can also be furnished with a beautiful mid-century modern wooden bedframe. I have a small middle-aged-to-elderly indoor-only cat who is very fluffy and would love to be your friend. The neighbors are quite friendly, too. It’s about 10 minutes to the med campus, 2 minutes from the 101, and 5 minutes from downtown Menlo Park by drive. You’ll have a dedicated parking spot, there is a coin-operated washer and dryer in the building, there’s a gas stove, and the floors are hardwood. The owners are as good as they come; rent for the whole apartment has gone up $50 over the past two years. It’s a lovely little place, and very queer-friendly.
