I am a postdoctoral scholar (Indian male) currently living in a 2B1B apartment in a nice gated apartment complex in Mountain View. It is a 6-7 min walk from Caltrain station and 10 min walk from the beautiful downtown (Castro St). One of the bedrooms (unfurnished) is currently available. The rent is $1125 + utilities (about $120-$150 per month including internet). There are two parking spots per apartment. Laundry is available within the complex. I mostly drive to the campus, so we can share the ride if timing works out. A bit about me: I am a quiet, accommodating person, and spend a major part of my day in the lab. I love to cook and will be happy to treat you every now and then. I like to go on outdoor activities like hiking and running. I am a cat lover and you are welcome to have one. There are several cats inside the complex and I play with them sometimes. So, please be aware if you are allergic to cats or do not like cats in general. I have lived with people from many countries and I think that's a great way to learn about someone's culture. I will prefer someone looking for a 1 year (or longer) lease.
