Share hall bath with two other persons, currently female Stanford postdoc, early 30s from Tunisia, and male intern trainer for Stanford Football team, 20’s, from France. Past renters have included SU postdocs, researchers, and clinical research coordinators, high tech interns, male or female, often international, in their 20s or 30s.

Room is approx. 10 x 12 feet with built-in closet, fully furnished with extralong twin chestbed (3 deep storage drawers), large worktable, desk lamp, swivel office chair, and 3-drawer chest. Pleasant view of lush garden with fruit trees and flowers. Bedding and towels provided. Full use of fully-equipped kitchen (provided you clean up after you cook!), dining/living area, patio/garden, and in-house washer/drier included. Common areas are high-ceilinged, spacious, and sunlit! Water and energy conservation essential. Driveway and/or street parking available or uncovered outdoor space inside gate to store bicycle. Sorry, no pets or smoking/drugs. Occasional overnight guests and small parties okay by prior arrangement.
 Home is near E. Charleston and Middlefield, about 15 minutes to Stanford or downtown PA by car, 20 minutes by bike, close to Bryant Street bike route, San Antonio Caltrain station, and VTA bus route 21.To estimate distance/time from SU campus, you can GPS Piazza’s Fine Foods, which is about 2 blocks from my house.

Rent is $1400 a month, which INCLUDES ALL UTILITIES, WIRELESS INTERNET, AND REGULAR HOUSEKEEPING IN COMMON AREAS AND BATHROOM. First and last month's rent plus $450 security deposit required to move in. Month-to-month.

 I am retired, female, former ESL teacher, former business owner, busy with many activities and interests. I live in the house and occupy the master suite plus a studio/office in converted garage. For over 15 years I have enjoyed renting rooms in my house to many international visitors.
