We have a large furnished bedroom for 1-2 people opening up in our 4 bedroom home in Midtown Palo Alto.
The house is in a lovely walkable neighborhood about 1 mile South of Cal Ave. In addition to the bedrooms, there’s abundant indoor space including a living room, dining room, entertainment area, full kitchen, and some garage storage. The front and back yards are also quite spacious, ripe with opportunities for gardening. Street parking is always available.
It's a great neighborhood: ~1 mile from Caltrain, 2 miles from Stanford. 2 miles from downtown Palo Alto, 3 miles from downtown Mountain View, and within walking distance of many coffee shops, grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, gyms, services, conveniences, and so much more., The house is just a couple blocks from Mitchell Park and several other popular outdoor recreation spots..
We're in our mid-20s to mid-30s and are relaxed, outgoing professionals that like to have some fun after work. The housemates group has historically been a mix of genders, so all are welcome to apply. We also have a super mellow and very lovable boxer mix named Dallas (see photos), who lives with us, and occasional canine guests.
We like to hang out together, but also all do things separately as well. Some things that we enjoy are being outdoors, hiking, going camping, playing and watching sports, listening to music, gardening, watching movies, enjoying a cocktail/beer together, playing Nintendo switch, cooking/grilling/sharing dinner, hanging out on the patio (including s'mores and music around the fire pit), etc.
