We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our team to help develop (and enhance) new and innovative technology products that forward our critical mission to this underserved population.
Implementing effective products in a robust software ecosystem takes expertise and passion. A talented developer must be able to transform business needs into a viable technical design and then drive the implementation of that design into a tested and effective product. As a Senior Software Developer, you will work closely with product teams, coordinate/collaborate with development peers, and communicate regularly with leadership.
The Day-to-Day
• Be part of an Agile Product team with other software developers, UX designers, data analysts, and product leads to design, implement, test, analyze and deploy high-functioning products to a cloud environment.
• Participate in and/or lead, design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Use your mentoring experience to guide junior teammates and foster an engaging culture.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them by analyzing the sources of problems and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• With your technical expertise, you will help manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Bachelor's in computer science, Mathematics, Philosophy, or related field and experience; and 5+ years of related experience.
• Above average verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience delivering technical products and solutions in an agile development environment.
• Three years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, and/or experience with computing technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• REST API experience with Python. Golang or Nodejs is also considered.
• MongoDB, or Cosmos DB (no SQL experience needed)

• Front-end, Svelte or React, PWA, Hybrid Mobile Application experience.
• HealthTech, InsureTech, Healthcare industry, or Insurance industry experience.
