Looking for a new friend, not just a housemate!
Hey friends, we’re Rachel, Adam, Ashley, Jack, and Jason! We’ve got a room opening up and we’re excited to welcome a new housemate starting April 1.
If you’re interested in taking a tour and getting to know us, please drop us an email at with some info about yourself. We’re all in our mid-to-late twenties, friendly, outdoorsy, and excited to set up a visit (virtual or in-person)!
See below for more information about us, the house, and the surrounding area:

THE HOUSE
The house is in good shape, built in the last twenty years, with 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms, an office space, two large living rooms, a garage, a laundry room, and a back patio with a garden and nice gas grill. The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas stovetop, two full-sized fridges, a dishwasher, a double-basin sink with a disposal, lots of appliances. We’ve got a two-car driveway and there’s generally plenty of street parking available in front of the house, no permit required.
THE CREW
Adam - A lover of downhill sports and life as a mechatronics engineer working in San Francisco. After work, I’m generally grabbing a sunset lap on my bike, hanging with the housemates, or getting lost in a project. On the weekends, you can find me mountain biking in Santa Cruz or skiing in Tahoe.
Jack - A National Geographic explorer who moonlights as an electrical engineer. When I’m not avoiding work at work, I’m usually climbing at Mickey’s or Bishop, hucking waterfalls in my kayak, or looking for birds, mushrooms, and various tide pool creatures. Other fun activities, include making moonshine, creating Pokemon ROM hacks, and figuring out how to do a handstand.
Ashley - aka Dr. Jashley. A recent graduate of physical therapy school, robe fanatic, and dog trainer extraordinaire. She enjoys treating any and all of her roommates’ sports-related injuries (when she isn’t too busy sending way harder than them), and can be found cooking/baking in the kitchen or curled up on the couch scrolling TikTok. P.S. Don’t try to talk to Ashley before she’s had her coffee. (Dating Grandpa Jason)
Rachel - A research geologist for USGS. Yes, I like rocks. I’m an avid skier, hiker, whitewater boater, and general outdoorswoman. Spare time is spent in the kitchen making a recipe I found online, in the climbing gym or reading a book I’ve had in my collection for way too long.
Jason - grandpa of the house. Likes tea, bikes and sardines. Is 29 going on 90. Can be found either stretching or crocheting before going to bed at 9pm. But somehow can also be found doing various iterations of sending or shredding on skis, bikes, or ropes. This grandpa could do a standing backflip over your grandpa. (Dating Dr. Jashley)
We’ve maintained a 3:2 (and 2:3) gals/guys ratio for the past few years and would ideally like to continue that for the next iteration of this house!
WORKING FROM HOME
Currently, we all split time between the office and home during the week. We do have desks in our bedrooms out of personal preference, but there is also a desk available in the office/guest room if you need more space to work from home!
