I have an unfurnished room available starting Feb 1 in a 3 bedroom/1 bath house next to Stanford campus in College Terrace. The house is small and pretty basic, but it has hardwood floors and a great patio under a redwood tree. Amenities: washer & dryer Missing amenities: no dishwasher, no AC (but I have fans to bring in cool evening air), no TV Room size is 11.5 x 9.75'. It faces south, so it gets some good light, but there are lots of trees around, so it's still pretty shaded. You'd be living with me, a male in his early 50s, along with my 9 year-old daughter, who is with me 3-4 afternoons & nights per week and has friends over some afternoons. Lifestyle-wise, we are fairly quiet for a household with children, but there will be very occasional noise from kids playing. We get going around 6:30-7 in the morning (as early as 6 on days I exercise), she goes to sleep around 8, and I go to sleep around 10:30 Rent for one person would be $1333 (⅓ of the rent I pay) plus ⅓ of utilities, which will come out to be $75-$120, depending on the season.
