I will be moving out Sept 1 2022 and my large master suite with a private bathroom and huge walk-in closet will be available for $1530 + (approx.) $150 WiFi and utilities per month + $500 Security Deposit. --- A GREAT, COMFORTABLE, AND SPACIOUS ACCOMMODATION The room is part of a 2br/2ba apartment, located on the top floor of a two-story building. The room is approximately 10 x 14 ft, plus a walk-in closet and private bathroom (with cupboards, toilet, bathtub, and shower), providing close to 240 sq. ft. of personal space with a generous amount of natural light. The shared kitchen and living room are fully furnished and fully equipped with everything one might need. There is a laundry facility on-site, and plenty of street parking is available. The room comes unfurnished but it is possible to buy furniture from the previous occupant, which includes all of the essentials for internationals. See below for more info. --- A GREAT LOCATION FOR COMMUTERS TO STANFORD OR SAN FRANCISCO The apartment complex is located in a very quiet neighborhood of Palo Alto, next to the El Camino Real and Arastradero junction. The apartment is close to Stanford, Tesla, SAP, Google, and Facebook. You’ll have easy access to the 280 and 101 freeways as well as to bus and train services, and the Stanford campus and San Antonio Shopping Center are easily reachable by bike. The apartment is only a couple of minutes' walk away from the El Camino + Arastradero/Charleston bus stop, which is 1 bus stop away from San Antonio Shopping Center and has a frequent, direct, 15-minute connection (the 22 or Rapid 522 lines) to Palo Alto Transit Center & Station, from where you can immediately go to downtown Palo Alto, take the shuttle to Stanford or board the Caltrain to San Francisco (northbound) or San Jose (southbound). From the apartment, you’ll only need a 20-min bike ride to get to the heart of the Stanford campus and a quick bike ride to the San Antonio Shopping Center. The apartment is situated between two Caltrain stations (Palo Alto & San Antonio), one being a Bullet Stop, so depending on your commuting preference, San Francisco is easily accessible. We are in close proximity to Stanford Shopping Mall and San Antonio Shopping Center, and you have many award-winning restaurants in the area, as well as Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Target, Walmart, Sprouts, Piazza’s, and the local Farmer’s Market. --- FURNITURE FOR SALE The room furniture includes a MALM Storage bed (white Full/Double), which will give you additional spacious storage (it can even store your suitcases), a HAUGSVÄR Hybrid mattress, a FJÄLLBRÄCKA Comforter, a GRUSNARV Waterproof mattress protector, a HAUGA Nightstand 15 5/8x14" with NÄVLINGE LED lamp, a TOMMARYD desk (tabletop + underframe) and RANARP work lamp, a TÅGARP Floor uplighter with light bulb. The walk-in closet furniture includes numerous coat hangers, three 21-gallon SKUBB laundry bags with stand, three stacking shirt bins, and three stacking sweater bins. Additionally, there is a fully equipped 21-gear Cannonade hybrid bike with top-notch U-lock, helmet, bike lights, bell, bike pump, and bike stand. --- ROOMMATE We are interested in locating a stable roommate who will occupy the Master Suite for a 1-year term, with an opportunity to renew. We are looking for someone who has a steady job and income, is respectful and super chill, clean, would not bring the party home, and would not be primarily working from home (with exception of Covid restrictions). Qualified applicants must complete a credit and background check through the property management once they pass the interview process. The remaining roommate is generous and easy-going. She works full time and is happy to provide help and open to chat. When not working, she is generally out kiteboarding, traveling to the next adventure, dancing, skiing, or chilling. We are a Covid-free and vaccinated household and have been diligent in our responsibilities to one another’s safety.
