Hi. I’m looking to fill two rooms in my wonderful NOPA apartment in early August. If you value location, space, and natural sunlight, this place might be a great fit for you. About the space (~1600 sq ft): Location: NOPA, a block away from the panhandle, and 3 blocks away from GGPark. It’s a corner unit, and has bay windows in every room. Centrally located so Inner Richmond, Inner Sunset, Haight Ashbury, Divis, and Lower Haight are all easily accessible. Amenities: We have a small portable dishwasher and there is no laundry in the building. The laundromat is a literal block away. Parking: Plenty of street parking. One additional outdoor garage spot available for $200/month. There’s only one entrance so if you’re driving often, we’ll need to swap spots from time to time. Common Areas: Spacious living/dining room, a flex room with parlor doors that open out into the living room (currently used as an office for two people), and an eat-in kitchen. Bathrooms: 1.5 bathrooms Utilities: Landlord pays for water only Pets: No pets allowed. About me: I’m a 31 year old female. I am currently working remotely as a People Scientist at a behavioral science start-up. I graduated with a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Stanford in 2021. In general, I spend a lot of after-work hours outside the apartment, but also appreciate quiet time at home. I enjoy being active (e.g., ultimate, hiking, climbing, running, tennis, volleyball, you name it, I’ll probably try it at least once) and am currently learning pottery and guitar. I have an extensive houseplant and board game collection. I am more of an early-morning workout than late-night partier type. Community is important to me, and I want to be intentional about creating a warm, positive, & supportive home environment (e.g., the occasional roommate dinner). I sometimes host small friend gatherings, but will always check in with roommates before I do. I value and respect people’s need for their own alone time and am clean and respectful of common space areas. Open to both male and female roommates. I currently live with my close friends from grad school and college— it’s been a dream. But they’re moving onto the next phases of their life, so hoping to use this opportunity to meet some new folks.
