Available now, move in any time from May 1st! The space on offer consists of a spacious living area, a large attached bedroom, and your own personal bathroom. You have your own private entrance and a carport. This space is separated from the rest of the rooms in the house by a large ballroom, leaving plenty of privacy and making for a nice quiet environment. Long-term renters (1+ years) are strongly preferred. Utilities are not included in the rental price, so add ~$120 a month. This is a house located in a residential neighborhood of Palo Alto with 6 bedrooms (5 other roomies), 5 bathrooms, a big kitchen, a living room, a laundry room, a shed for extra storage, a marble-floored ballroom that, we occasionally use for very chill house concerts (approx 3 or 4 times a year), a garden, a big yard, a basic home gym, and a 30-foot long pool. It's the perfect house for working from home in COVID times! It's an easy 3-mile bike (20 minutes) or car ride to the Stanford campus, just a couple of miles from two Caltrain stations, and is close to either the 280 or 101 for the work commuter. You will share the house with 5 other roommates with a variety of jobs, interests, occupations and cultures. Our place has a respectful, enriching, and comfortable atmosphere and we are looking for a roommate with a similar outlook. The housemates are a varied group of individuals but we are all pretty laid back and easy going. We’re all professionals in our 20’s who live active lives. Everyone here has unique interests in addition to all of us enjoying the outdoors, board games, hanging out, barbequing, and the occasional pool party. Everyone is encouraged to hang out whenever they want but is more than welcome to just relax in their own space at any time; the large house and common areas make that super easy. • Tunde: I enjoy making homemade ice cream for the house, bringing healthy competition to house sports (Spikeball and horse). I keep my housemates lightly informed about sports and sports adjacent happenings. • Andrew: I enjoy home projects, card games (Specifically Kombio), biking, skiing, tennis. I love sharing my invention ideas and new passions with the house. • Max: I enjoy coding projects, candle making, building small home airplanes, occasionally baking bread, and all things dairy! Specifically cheese, and Tunde’s ice cream. • Sara: I enjoy baking both vegan and non vegan treats for the house. I like tennis, climbing, skiing and all other outdoor activities. • Daniel: I’m vegan, love D&D, LoL and other games. I do small crafts such as book binding, candle making and cooking.
