Why Ensign? • National leader in the growing healthcare industry • We are a unique company with a flat structure that allows our independent affiliates to make decisions that best fit them • What sets Ensign Services apart from other companies is the quality of our most valuable resource - our people • We take our core values of Customer Second, Accountability, Passion for Learning, Love One Another, Intelligent Risk Taking, Celebration, and Ownership (CAPLICO) seriously and strive to provide a work experience that proves it • ESI provides service and support to over 230 facilities in the long term care continuum that employ over 30,000 team members across 14 states • High volume, fast paced environment • Publicly traded – NASDAQ: ENSG Responsibilities: • Prepare general ledger entries as needed to ensure completeness and accuracy of the financial results in accordance with GAAP • Meet deadlines for month-end close • Review revenue postings to ensure appropriate and accurate recording • Complete variance explanations for revenue accounts • Analyze revenue trends and providing insightful conclusions • Work closely with operations and the GL team to provide guidance and insight on reporting Qualifications: • Degree in Accounting required • 2 years minimum, accounting experience • Must be a customer service oriented, independently curious, collaborative and self-motivated • Strong problem-solving and collaboration • Advanced computer/Excel - VLOOKUP and pivot tables • Period-end analysis and close activities that provided leadership with timely and reliable financial information • Strong analytical skills to analyze, explain, and conclude on financials trends. • Central location managing field accounting activities is preferred • Skilled nursing healthcare experience a plus • We are looking for someone that can live our company values of CAPLICO!
