I will be away from campus from December 15 - March 10 and I am looking to sublet my place for part of or the entirety of the time. I have received approval from housing for this sublease but it requires that the individual be matriculated and enrolled as a Stanford student (unfortunately that means no post-docs or other Stanford affiliates).
The apartment is a two bedroom / one bath in Rains Graduate Housing. General photos can be found here:
https://rde.stanford.edu/studenthousing/liliore-green-rains-houses#Residences and I'm happy to provide photos of my actual apartment. Note that the photos on the website are for renovated apartments and my apartment is not renovated. The apartment is fully furnished with a bed, sofa, tables, desk, office chair etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots / pans, toaster, kettle, microwave, and air fryer which you would be welcome to use. The apartment also has all cleaning items like vacuum, and has an air purifier.
The rent is $1396 month which can be prorated for the time that you'll be there. I have a preference for someone who can stay for most of the time.
Because I will be back in March I am hoping to leave some of my belongings in boxes under the bed but I can clear out most of the rooms closet and drawers. We can figure out what would work best to allow you to have enough space but also for me to be able to leave some things stored. The other roommate is a male Stanford PhD student. We generate keep a pretty quiet apartment and don't often have tons of guests over so I'd appreciate someone who would be ok with that.
Email me and we can find a time to discuss / have you see the place.
