Unfurnished master bedroom in our large, remodeled LGBTQ-friendly 4-bedroom house in San Francisco is available starting in early November. We are looking for a friendly housemate who is social, independent, and will help keep the common areas clean. We occupy the second and third floors of a large 3-story, staircase-only house in Visitacion Valley, with a former housemate in the first floor in-law unit. The house is equipped with a large kitchen, furnished living room and dining area, office space, heated bedroom floors, balcony, washer and dryer, smart doors, and front door security cameras. Garage and driveway are shared among housemates, with free street parking available. Lease is through June 2022, with the option to convert to month-to-month afterwards. No pets allowed. Second floor bedroom with private bathroom: $1225 rent + ~$100 utilities + $1467 security deposit. Located 0.9 mile from the Bayshore Caltrain station, 0.5 mile from the MUNI stop, close to Highway 101 and I-280, 5-minute walk to McLaren Park, 10-minute drive to SFO airport, 45-minute drive to Stanford, and a 10-minute drive to UCSF Mission Bay. Current housemates are Molly (she/her), a Stanford & UC Davis alumna and NASA engineer, Sophie (she/her), a Stanford alumna and Facebook recruiter, and Manny (he/him), an SFSU alumnus and finance professional, all in their late 20s. Molly grew up bicontinental in the US and the UK. She enjoys hiking, adventuring around the city, and hopes to see live music as things open up. Manny is a San Francisco local with a love for showing people around the city. He enjoys cooking elaborate meals, trying new restaurants, watching reality TV, and spending time with his friends in the Castro. Sophie grew up in Minnesota but has been in the Bay Area since college. She enjoys reading, finding/cooking delicious vegetarian/vegan food, watching tv, playing board games, and musical theater. We have independent lives, but we enjoy hanging out with housemates for occasional brunches, movie nights, and nights out. We follow all CDC and Bay Area COVID guidelines for the safety of the entire house, with ongoing discussion as the situation progresses.
