Just wanted to pass along an apartment in Menlo Park for my landlord - my partner and I recently moved out of another one of his Menlo Park apartments after staying almost 2 years and we loved our time there. It comes with an outdoor deck and is on a nice and quiet street! Location - a 3 min drive to Trader Joe's, Safeway, and Draeger's; you're also going to be a 3 minute walk to Jack Lyle park, which has a big grassy area to hang out in and play sports. It's around a 10 minute drive to campus (depends where you are); my partner biked to the law school everyday, and that took him around 15 minutes, for what it's worth. The apartment is dog and cat-friendly. The landlord is very responsive - he has a few properties in Menlo Park and always got back to us within 24 hours. We had no major issues during our time with the landlord - he understands the importance of keeping the property in good shape.
