I am moving out of my wonderfully located 1-bedroom apartment in College Terrace - right next to campus - in Palo Alto. It will be available on July 1, though it might be possible for you to move in earlier as I'm planning to move out sometime in late May/early June. The monthly rent is $2675, with a $3000 security deposit. You will need to sign a one-year lease. It's a proper one bedroom, big enough to fit a king-sized bed. The living room is also spacious with a nice balcony that you can fill with plants. The oven is new and the kitchen is well-equipped, with enough space for a breakfast nook. You only share a wall with one neighbor, so it's also really quiet. There is an off-street covered parking space included, as well. In addition to being really close to campus, it's in a great neighborhood - there are little parks nearby and free tennis courts just down the street. There's also the weekly Palo Alto farmer's market about a 5-min walk on California Ave, and it's close to the Cal Ave Caltrain station. If you have a car, it's a quick drive to Trader Joe's, Safeway, Whole Foods, and lots of other useful places. The landlady is also really nice and very responsive.
