We are looking for one roommate for a 3-bedroom apartment. The room is available April 1st. Rent is $1156/month + utilities, with a $1000 security deposit at move-in. Please find the details below: The Location: The apartment is located on Ventura Ave in Palo Alto. It is within convenient commuting distance to Stanford University, many tech companies (Facebook, Google, Tesla, VMWare, Machine Zone, etc.), public transit, grocery stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. California Ave is within walking distance, along with many other good spots for food. The location is within biking-distance to Stanford University and some of the tech companies mentioned above with friendly biking routes. There are also many bus stops and a Caltrain stop close-by. The Place: It is a 3-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, patio, bathroom, and multiple places for storage. The apartment is on the second floor of the building. There is a shared, coin-op laundry facility downstairs. There is one parking spot assigned to this apartment, in addition to off street parking, and free street parking. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker, and microwave, etc. The Room: It is slightly bigger in both dimensions than 13’x11’ and has a view overlooking the back patio. It has closet that is approximately 5’x2’. Both the room and the closet have 8’ ceilings. The window faces North/ Northeast so you get plenty of gentle light throughout the day. Us: We both work at Stanford. We’re both easy going and tend to spend time mostly in our own rooms or outside. We’re both fairly active and like to ride our bikes or go on hikes/runs. We both are tested regularly for COVID and will have had both doses of the vaccine by the time you are here.
