I am working from home for the rest of 2020 and hoping to live the nomad life if I can sublet out my apartment. It's a fantastic set-up so I actually just renewed the lease for a full year and don't really want to permanently move out, hence the sublet. It's a private bedroom / bathroom in a two bedroom two bathroom ~1000 square feet apartment with a large open living / dining space. My roommate is fantastic - nice, clean, respectful, and careful about COVID but not overly OCD (she's a doctor / master's student at Stanford). The apartment is in downtown Menlo Park, easy walk from Trader Joe's or Safeway or lots of restaurants on Santa Cruz Ave (that are open already for outdoor dining), super residential street (we are in a 4-unit apartment complex, but there are many stand-alone homes on the street). I pay $1700 a month (including all utilities), happy to discuss a discount. I'm willing to be gone for any / all of 9/4 through the end of 2020 - hoping for someone who will sublease for at least 2 months, happy to leave it open-ended / month to month after that given the uncertainty in the world. The place is fully furnished. You can even borrow some bedding, towels, computer monitor, kitchen supplies, bike & accessories, etc. if you'd like.
