The Room: We have a big 12x11 room with a large window and a huge built-in wardrobe to offer. The room is currently furnished as you can see in the pictures, but you can easily bring your own setup if you prefer. There is a full bathroom shared with 2 other roomies, and a half guest bathroom. The rent is $1,450 excluding utilities, available from June 2020. Your Roomies: The house is shared with 4 other people in their late 20s early 30s from Germany, Canada and the USA, all working in the area. It is a perfect melting pot of culture and adventure, with hiking, kiting, biking, yoga, cooking and small gatherings regularly on the menu. Community is important to us, we are social people open to new inspiring cultures and sharing activities! We also respect privacy and encourage cleanliness; communal areas must be enjoyable for everyone! The House: A picturesque A-framed Eichler house in beautiful Los Altos; within a 1 mile radius of major stores, and close to the 101, 280 & Cal-Train. The house is fully furnished and equipped with a washer, dryer, dishwasher, library, space for yoga/activities and a large driveway. It encloses a huge backyard with hammocks, grill, couch, pond, outdoor seating, redwood trees, gardening space…what else do you need? Shelter-in-Place/WFH: The house has been a true sanctuary in these uncertain times, providing efficient WFH spaces as well as allowing us to enjoy life a lot even during shelter-in-place. Internet keeps up with our online meetings and remote work. We are all symptom-free and there is enough space for another home worker! What’s Next?
