We are looking for a housemate to join us in our 3-bedroom home in Redwood City. The house is in a great neighborhood in Woodside Plaza with easy access to the 280. Washing and drying units are on-site. The ideal roommate keeps a tidy space and is ready to move in soon. Here's a bit more info about the place: Price: Deposit: $1100 Rent: $1150/month Utilities are usually $50-$100 per person per month Location: 1257 Crompton Road, Redwood City CA, 94061 When: Currently available. Desired move-in of new tenant as soon as possible. Housemates: The current residents are both male, 28 y.o. I (Casey) am a graduate student at Stanford, and the other tenant (Cody) works in biotech in Mountain View. Finally, we also live with Layla, a 9mo. old Berne-doodle puppy, all around goofball, and lovable living teddy-bear. The Space: The house has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, and a big living room/common area. We've got a fully enclosed back yard with a grill, two patios, and lots of space for gardening/ other activities. The house is fully furnished except for the bedroom, but we can make room for any furniture. And we've got all the household necessities when it comes to appliances, entertainment, etc. (coffee machine, 2 fridges, washer/dryer, TV, internet). Pets: We've already got one pooch, and the more the merrier! Cats and dogs both OK. Parking: We have a two-car driveway and a garage. There is also free and amply available street parking right near the house. General Area: We live in the `Woodside Plaza' neighborhood, which is just west of Woodside Road between 280 and 101. The neighborhood is super nice and quiet - mostly we are surrounded by young families and homeowners. There are a number of nice amenities on Woodside right nearby (supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.), and there are 3 parks/open spaces (that I know of) within 5m of our place. Our house is a only ~3 miles from downtown Redwood City (~10m drive), and very bikeable 5 miles to Stanford campus (~15m drive). Please contact me for more photos or to schedule a visit.
