After 7 years, I am moving out of my wonderful West Menlo Park apartment and helping my landlord to find a good replacement. It’s located at 780 Arbor Rd, between Middle Ave and Santa Cruz Ave in Menlo Park, and is less than a 8 min bike ride to campus. Walking distance to downtown Menlo Park and tons of restaurants/grocery stores/parks. About the apt: The unit is a large 1 bd/1ba on the second-floor, with a HUGE (200sf+ !!) balcony, hardwood floors, very large master bedroom with wall-to-wall closets, 2 large hall closets, a good sized eat-in kitchen w/ gas stove. The bathroom has a separate shower and full-sized bath tub, with good amounts of storage. There is a dedicated carport for the unit, which includes outside storage space, as well as a courtyard space for BBQing etc. Coin operated laundry is available as well. I don’t know the exact square footage, but my best guess is around ~800sf. It’s larger than many 2 bedroom apartments I’ve looked at. The landlord doesn’t have photos, but if you’re interested, I can try to take some of my occupied unit. Rent is a very reasonable (for this area) $2650/mo, only water/gardner is included in the price. Deposit is $1000. It’s available 10/15.
