iOS Research Kit Developer Position: The Wall Lab at Stanford University is seeking an iOS developer to create a simple app using Apple Research Kit. Lab and Study Info: The Wall Lab is part of the Department of Pediatrics and the Division of Systems Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. We are a bioinformatics lab that focuses on translating the thinking of systems biology to the field of autism genetics with the intent to develop effective early-stage diagnostics and targets for therapeutic intervention, using computational tools of systems biology, machine learning and network interference. This opportunity is part of our Crowsourced Clinical Trial initiative, to collect data for validation of our novel Machine Learning classification system to distinguish autism from ADHD. Position and Qualifications: We are seeking a student to develop a simple app for data collection using Apple Research Kit. This app will utilize the existing templates in Research Kit’s existing consent and survey modules to collect responses for two parent-directed surveys. Some basic functionality that is required includes populating different question sets based on the age of the participant, as well as allowing the user (parent) to upload multiple questionnaires (for multiple children). Hours are flexible, however the expected timeframe for completing the app is approximately 2-3 weeks.
