We are seeking applications for 1 full-time post-doctoral research fellow to join the Stanford Cancer Survivorship Research Laboratory at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, led by Dr. Oxana Palesh in the fall of 2015. We are looking for candidates with doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, health psychology, epidemiology, public health, or another behavioral science with an interest in developing expertise in conducting behavioral clinical trials in cancer. Prior research experience or training in behavioral sleep medicine is a plus, but is not essential. Prior clinical research experience is strongly desired. The postdoctoral fellow will assist and receive mentorship on a weekly basis from the PI and co-investigators in all aspects of clinical intervention research and will participate in conducting the experimental and control interventions and assist in analysis and interpretation of data for conference presentations and publications co-auithored with other members of the research team. The postdoctoral fellow will assist with the development of training protocols, intervention study procedures, and will have opportunities to help supervise research staff and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
