Hello World: I’m looking for friendship or love or companionship. I’m not entirely sure. I just want to find someone like me. Is that such a strange request? I’ve been feeling a little alone in the world. Not because there aren’t people around me, but I don’t feel understood. If you feel like you relate with the following interests or personality traits that I will list below, please contact me. I want to find someone who fits well with me, but so far that's been a challenge. Maybe I'm just odd. “Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: "What! You too? I speculate and comment on the aesthetics of a room or a building or an art piece or a garden or a plant. I dissolve and float in the atmosphere and then materialize and come back to reality. I notice things. I notice when leaves are shaped in a different way than I am used to seeing. I notice when people get a trim. I people watch. I talk with people on public transportation. I make chemistry jokes… These tertiary carbons are going to cause alkynes of trouble on the test. Hah. Hah… maybe? I am whimsical. I don’t like routines… I enjoy switching up my walk to work everyday. I like using new recipes. I like trying new restaurants. I like trying new types of pour-over coffees (I just discovered Philz Mint Mojito Iced Coffee. It’s soo good! I also discovered that manufacturing cream is used there. Like, that’s a thing? It has 40% fat content? Yikes!). I like swimming and running, although I’m not very fast. I was on my high school swim team. I am happy to sit down on a bench at the end of the day and be content. I am not looking for conversation sometimes. I get wrapped up in my own thoughts but I’m willing to share what I thought about afterwards. I believe in living life to the fullest and doing one thing for you every day that makes you happy. If I were to die today, I would like to know I did something that was at least somewhat worthwhile. I like being honest about things. I like randomness. I like hugs. I love to laugh and smile. I love to dance—night club dancing, social dancing (swing, salsa, tango, waltz, night-club two step). I like oldies, alternative, and pop music. I like musicals. I love being outdoors. I like hiking the dish, camping in Yosemite, stargazing. I think I'm artistic. I can knit, sew, crochet. I like decorating places. I make cool origami. I like going to places outside of the bubble! The Exploratorium! The Golden Gate Park! Downtown Mountain View! As cool as it is to be at Stanford, I wouldn’t want to be stuck here forever and ever. I’m told I act younger than my age at times. I’m…young at heart. I’m silly. I’m a goofball. I once ate a BLT with chopsticks. I can act like I’m five, but I also have the maturity of someone much older. I’ve had a lot of life experiences happen at a young age. Blaaaaaaaaaah, I think I summed up myself. There’s still more I think that would only come across in conversation. Soooooo, if you think you’re a bit like me, let’s have a conversation. : D
