I am looking to hire a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker/writer to assist me with Portuguese interview transcription. The audio is in portuguese, and must be transcribed (not translated). Ideally, I'm looking for someone who can work about 5-10 hours/week, and can commit for about 8-10 weeks, or until the interview transcriptions are completed. The candidate must be a NATIVE BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE speaker and writer, who is responsible and professional. An interest in anthropology, immigration, and/or religion a plus (but not required!). The interview content must be kept completely confidential. Pay is $15/hr. The RA may work from any location. About me: I am a PhD student in the Anthropology department, conducting field work on the role of religion in the Brazilian immigrant community in the Washington D.C. area.
