Connecting Wii to Stanford residences network @stanford.edu

I am trying to connect my Ninendo Wii to the Stanford Residences (EV) network. I use my own wireless router. I have registered Wii and my router on rescomp.stanford.edu. But somehow, Wii is not able to connect to my router. I also tried using wired connection (using lan/usb adapter) - no luck. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.
